Should IT be something that is in high consideration in the current health reform bill? Many doctors complain that the current communication between hospitals and doctors is somewhat out dated.

I don't know if the problem is predetermined, but their is definitely a problem. There is a great importance in finding some type of IT solution for the future of healthcare.
